 Tripura Sundari Temple:

Tripura Sundari Temple is a Hindu temple of Goddess Tripura Sundari. It is about 55 km from Agartala,It is popularly known as Matabari,The temple is situated in the ancient city of Udaipur and can be reached by train and road from Agartala. It is believed to be one of the holiest Hindu shrines in this part of the country. The temple is considered to be one of the 51 Shakti Peethas; legend says that the little finger of the left leg of Sati fell here.There are two similar but different size d black stone idols of the Goddess in the sanctum sanctorum of the temple. The larger and more prominent idol of 5 feet height is of Goddess Tripura Sundari and the smaller one, adorably called Chhoto-Ma which is 2 feet tall and is an idol of Goddess Chandi. Folklore says that the smaller idol was carried by the kings of Tripura to the battlefield.Every year on the occasion of Diwali, a famous Mela takes place near the temple.

Debtamura: Devtamura  from  Agartala  is 75 km. It  is a hill range in  South Tripura  district of  Tripura , India. It is known  archaeological  site of rock sculptures, a panel of carved images of  Hindu  deities of  Durga ,  Ganesha  and  Kartikeya  on the bank of  Gomati River .  The stone images are estimated to have curved during the 15/16th century. It is situated between udaipur and Amarpur.Way by which we can go there  is only by boat a three-hour journey from  Amarpur  to Udaipur to the forest area of the site; the total distance of travel from  Agartala  is 75 km.  Chabimura is  the archaeological site at Devtamura.  The site includes colossal carvings of the image of Devi Chakrakma . Pilak

Pilak: Pilak site is located at Jolaibari, in South Tripura,which is 100km from Agartala.It   is an   archaeological   site in the   Santirbazar   sub-division of   South Tripura   district of   Tripura . Many images and structures, belonging to Buddhist and Hindu sects,   have been discovered here since 1927. The antiquities found here are dated from 8th to 12th centuries. Sandstone sculptures of the Pilak site, which represent a heterodox culture of   Hinduism   and   Buddhism   of 9th to 13th century, are on display at the   Tripura Government Museum  which is in Ujjayanta Palace.
